Milan's Shame

What is Kingman’s Shame has become Milan’s Shame. See www.MilanUnited.com and see our Town Board’s view of Milan. Kingman, Williams and the rest of the Turkey Hill Gang have done everything they can to maintain Milan’s eyesore, the burned out gas station on route 199. This is the bunch that are wanting to keep Milan rural instead they are making it into a ghetto.

Milan's shame: Illiterate, half-baked blog-sloggers with nothing better to do than criticize.

speaking of eye sores, i hear your poster boy George Caruthers went ballistic the other nite. perhaps he should control all of that energy and clean up the dump (eye sore) he so proudly owns - talk about shame!

If I was George Caruthers I would be going crazy too. This planning board has done everything in their power to screw the guy. How much have they spent of his money on "consultants"? They should let him put in a dance hall, Milan needs a little life, god forbid someone wants to have a good time in Milan, the only way you can have some fun in Milan is to goto a Town Board meeting and watch Ross "The Mayor" Williams make a fool of himself. Like others have said in this blog, the powers that be in Milan don't want anything; no kids, no dancing, no life. That's why they moved here from the big city.

Anonymous number one and number two;if you don't like the second "L" in Milan, get the ***L out of Milan

Rather that worring about two LLs in Milan and George Caruthers' dance hall, you characters should take a look at what your "friends" are at in the Town Hall. Take a look at Williams, Talmage and the two Turkey Hill Ladies and see how they are squandering our taxs. Take a look at Talmage's mispostings and overdrafts, then you will have something to worry about not George Caruthers and his dance hall or the spelling of Milan. You characters are the big spenders from New York City who came here to show us country bumpkins how to live and you don't need to worry about Talmage, Williams & Co squandering your dough. Unfortunatly us poor folk, born and raised in Milan do have to worry.

So what, EXACTLY, is the status of the gas station project? No political BS or ranting & raving - just objective fact, please.

At 6:48 PM, Anonymous Anonymous said...

FACT: Kingman has decided that he does not want the gas station and has thrown up one road block after another each decision hour to stall the project.

FACT: Williams is using the gas station as a test case to see how much BS an owners will take and how much he can extract in escrow fees.

FACT: The owner has tried, at nearly every meeting, to get a "final punch list" on what is needed for his site plan.

FACT: The town has never provided a detail accounting of his escrow fees or provided a "punch list" for him to finalize the project.

FACT: The heat from the Milan United page kick-started the whole process again, just like MU kick-started the public revolt to their stupendously idiotic overlay fiasco.
